INDIANAPOLIS (March 4, 2013) — More than 100 volunteers will gather at St. Theodore Guerin Catholic High School in Noblesville on Sunday, March 10 from 2 to 4 p.m. to package meals for central Indiana families in need.

According to Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, “311,290 people in Gleaners’ service area are food insecure.”1

The Valeo Foundation, in coordination with the National Honor Society of Guerin Catholic High School, organized the event with the goal of packaging 30,000 meals. Packaged meals will be delivered to Gleaners Food Bank for distribution to families in central Indiana.

Funding for the event is provided by the Valeo Foundation, whose mission is to help provide for basic human needs of food, shelter, health care and education at home and abroad.

“This is the first food packaging event we have sponsored since forming our foundation,” John Trott said. “In these challenging economic times, we are excited about the opportunity to leverage the charitable donations from our clients with the volunteer efforts of Guerin Catholic family to help feed the hungry.”

The Valeo Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation, was formed by Valeo Financial Advisors, LLC of Indianapolis, one of the largest fee-only financial advisory firms in the Midwest.
