Fixing the Federal Budget
November 15, 2010    Disclosures    POSTED IN  Economy

The United States is projected to have large federal budget deficits in the coming years unless some combination of tax increases and cost cutting measures are implemented. The New York Times has created a interactive piece that allows the user to choose which taxes should be increased and which costs should be cut in order to close the projected annual budget deficits. The Times has separated the budget shortfalls into near term, 2015, and long term, 2030, periods.
